Red Breasted Nuthatch Prints
This nuthatch perched on the Dutchman's Pipe vine is about to fly to the near by feeder. It will grab a sunflower seed then crack it open by lodging it in the crevice of the tree bark and hammer away with its strong bill. The Red-breasted Nuthatch, distinguished from the White-breasted by its black eye line, white eyebrow and rust colored underparts, has a more nasal 'ank-ank' sound. We enjoy this friendly bird's acrobatics as it climbs up and down the tree trunk and branches.
Our prints are double matted with acid free 100% rag mat. The outer mat on each is pearl gray with a complementary inner mat for each bird. Frames are mahogany finish 3/4" wood.
